I request these 3 small UX features to make the application more convenient for those who tend to use the mouse more than the keyboard:
1. click icon to toggle functionality
2. double-click to toggle settings
3. allow user to choose which visibility app starts on

Hey. The Taskbar Eliminator is a useful tool. Thanks for developing it.
I'm here to request three features. These make things much more convenient for those of us who tend to use the mouse more than the keyboard ;)
1. A click on the little Taskbar Eliminator icon in the taskbar tray = toggles taskbar functionality (toggles between taskbar is visible or taskbar is hidden).
2. A double-click on the little Taskbar Eliminator icon in the taskbar tray = brings up the Taskbar Eliminator preferences window.
3. In the preferences window, please add a checkbox or a dropdown option which allows the user to choose between the taskbar being visible OR invisible when Windows starts (or when Taskbar Eliminator starts).

Art Therapy As A Lifelong Enrichment

The millennial world is obsessed with various trends of learning. For children, one of the methods of learning would be coloring sheets which may assist in producing them a much better student. It could be a convenient clinic for parents to make their children practice those coloring pages for becoming audience and a better learner. Furthermore, coloring sheets play a role in growth of these in youth. If you're fighting the development of motor skills on your son or daughter, then keep reading the article for getting guidance regarding it.

Parents should realize that the media does not have to be a weight. Rather, the press is a fantastic resource. Once a kid has exhausted all of the toys along with activities, they could use the coloring page to unwind. Below are a few benefits of coloring for stress:

Many instances are stating there is not any appropriate coordination between the eye and hands of the children. They aren't able to concentrate properly in their studies. Through the coloring pages, the kids will learn how to fill the color in a given area. The balance between the body parts will improve the learning skills of the person. So, there will be development within their children's body.

Studies have shown that outdoor activities prove to be a fantastic learning process for kids. You may take your child to a zoo to let him/her interpret character with the support of coloring pages. Earth worksheets, pages for coloring, or even activity books can be a good option for preschool teachers and parents. Pages with animated drawings meals sheets, alphabets drawings, and many are also available online which may be utilized as a printouts.

Recognition is vital in the toddles lifetime as they start recognition with different colors. Various colors have different appearances; these items empowers children to find out recognition effectively and easily. If a young child is facing some problems about the identification, therefore must supply them coloring pages together with a color box. Doing things will help them to recognize color efficiently, and which will be the time to present them to color names.

Whilst coloring, you can use whatever colors you like. But recall to color in the center. Avoid using bright colors and you will get more coloring completed. This usually means you'll come up with items that others are going to enjoy. You can see a color and use it as the foundation of the image.

Hi dude,

Thanks so much for your splendid Taskbar Eliminator. When watching videos and stuff, it's annoying to have the Windows taskbar visible. As you know, Microsoft requires several steps to turn taskbar auto-hide on and off each time—and of course, it doesn't always work, because the taskbar has a mind of its own (apps trying to "notify" you, etc.).

Sheesh. After all, this is the 21st century. We don't have the flying bubble cars or rocket shoes, but we have most of the other stuff. And we want control of our own computers, dang it.

I finally found an app called Taskbar Activate (I dare you to find it, though—it's quite obscure) that worked well, but for some reason didn't hide the Start button. So I wrote my own Visual Basic app to do that (called, appropriately, Start Button Hider). Yes, I was resigned to having to run two apps to hide or show my own taskbar. I probably would've been more indignant, belligerent, etc., but it was something of a consolation knowing that Bill Gates was out there doing some very charitable stuff with his Windows dough (although whether it would've occurred to him to do so had Melinda not lassoed him is open to conjecture).

But now I have your superior app. It's perfect. Thanks again. At this point I feel compelled to say something about people who collect road cones. Don't ask me why. I'm sure they wouldn't know either. Cheers, Ander

System:
- windows 7 enterprise x64
- Aviassin Restrict Access multiuser.

I run the program at start up using a batch file that calls some other programs, too.

Instead of completely getting rid of the taskbar, it sometimes switches to Autohide, causing it to show up when I mouse over it. To fix this, I have to manually run "restore taskbar" and then again "eliminate task bar" to get rid of the taskbar. This defeats the purpose, because I want the program to reliably hide the taskbar witout having to go from computer to computer and solve issues manually.

The bat file ends as follows (note: Personal Activity Monitor puts a message in the taskbar, but I include a pause before running the Taskbar Eliminator):

start "" "C:\Program Files (x86)\Personal Activity Monitor\PAM.exe"
ping 1.0.0.0 -n 1 -w 5000 >NUL
start /wait /i "" "C:\Users\labclient\Desktop\Restore Taskbar.exe"
start "" "C:\Users\labclient\Desktop\Apply Taskbar Eliminator.exe"

Is there a solution?

Thanks.

When the taskbar is not completely eliminated, I do still want it to auto-hide. However, after I use Taskbar Eliminator to hide it completely and then restore it, the auto-hide feature is no longer enabled. The task bar appears and squeezes my windows irreversibly (even for after I reenable auto-hide). This is unacceptable. Is there any fix?

I am running under Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

First of all, to the publisher, thank you very much for this program, love it.

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit SP1. My suggested problem/resolution is related to the Taskbar Re-emerging (I have no idea if this is related to the same problem the current reader is having). I hope the following helps others in trying to get Taskbar Eliminator to work. By the way I am using the free version.

I had set Taskbar Eliminator to start with Windows. When I logged into Windows, Taskbar Eliminator worked but only initially - after 40 seconds, the taskbar ALWAYS re-emerged. So I started making notes as to the exact time (based on my system time) that the taskbar re-emerged. I then cross referenced this time with the events in my system event log (I used a filter based on the time I had noted, see image below):

( I can't post the image because im a guest on this forum but here is the link anyway (replace hashes with forward slashes - http:##tinypic.com#view.php?pic=14jm78w&s=6 )

This led me to see that the following event was happening at the same time the taskbar was re-emerging:

0000000027: 2013-03-06 21:18:51:653 Exception <UpdateJumpLists>: A valid active Window is needed to update the Taskbar
Exception Called by: ATI.ACE.CLI.Component.Dashboard.DBFavouritesSectionVMController::DoSetTree processID:04464 threadID:(CCCThreadNew:Dashboard) domainName:(CCC.exe ) assemblyName:(CLI.Component.Dashboard, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=90ba9c70f846762e)

Notice the mention of the taskbar … obviously something is happening here that related to the very thing I was trying to get working. For the unknowing, CCC.exe is ATI's Catalyst Control Center (the Graphics Control Panel for ATI Graphics Cards). So after I found this out, I went into msconfig and disabled CCC.exe as a start up program. From then on, and a few restarts later and counting, I haven't had a problem with Taskbar Eliminator since.

I am not saying that CCC.exe is causing the problem for everyone, but I am saying that you might be able to find out what is causing your taskbar to re-appear using the method that I used.

Anyway, I thought i'd contribute. Thanks. If I have helped you then please post and say thanks so I can see how many i've helped! :)

When I start TE manually or when I click the shortcut, it works perfect.

Windows 7 / 32bit

Any Ideas?

Hi,

I just wanted to tell you that I love your taskbar eliminator software! You are the last resource to all pro users that value each pixel on the screen. Since M$ removed the "always on top" feature from the taskbar in W7 (it is turned ON by default and cannot be turned OFF), there were many discussions that eventually led to a hack that saved the day for millions, including myself (http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/54842-taskbar-always-top-disable-enable.html). Unfortunately, that hack stopped working after SP1. That is when i started searching for a solution and I have found your software, that saved the day again.

I hope you don't mind me making a request/idea for you - if your hotkeys could at least resemble the standard Windows combination for invoking the start menu together with start bar (control+escape) and provide a similar use case (unhide the taskbar together with popping start menu), imho that would be awesome. You could provide back for the community what M$ took away in W7 completely.

Thanks for everything!

Hi, I'm currently using your latest version as of this post (2.9) and Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

I really like this tweaking app. It's well thought out and works quite well.

I'm just wondering if it is at all possible to make it not resize the active desktop area (right now it expands and squishes the desktop icons every time you hide and show the taskbar) by having a setting that keeps entire desktop area fully usable by the desktop icons and any open windows if it is enabled.

This would also get rid of windows remaining squished after showing and hiding the taskbar.

If I use the built-in auto-hide this doesn't occur, but then I have that single pixel tall top portion of the taskbar peeking out at the bottom of the screen and the taskbar notifications make the taskbar appear. Both of which are annoying and are the reasons why I installed Taskbar Eliminator.

I like being able to toggle the taskbar on and off, so the custom builds don't fulfill my needs unfortunately.

Thanks for reading. I really hope you can address this behavior through some means or another. It would make Taskbar Eliminator perfect.

Hi Everyone,

We've just released a huge update to iCalcy - 2.0!

The code has been entirely rewritten, and it includes fully updated graphics, icons, and now includes scientific functions. An all-new settings screen (with the iPhone interface) is included, as well as updating functionality, button hover effects, a new navigation bar, and the 'selected' effect on operation buttons.

Enjoy!
